All About Affiliate Marketing Program

Affiliate marketing programs allows advertisers to reimburse webmasters for the space of putting up advertising on their web-pages, blogs or even within the e-mails they send. These advertisers pay for space on the Internet, much as they would on a billboard or in a magazine or newspaper.Due to its simplicity of operation the affiliate marketing program has become the most famous methods of makeing money from home. This program can easily be used by anyone. Even housewives who dream of a home business can earn from this.
They did not coin the term Work At Home Moms or WAHM for nothing.
- Make Money on the Web
So just how do advertisers pay those hosting their ads? First, it is important to understand how sites are ranked when someone searches the web. Simply, the more hits a website receives per day the higher it is listed when a user performs a web search with a search engine. This in turn makes a frequently visited website have even more hits.
The more traffic a website receives, the more likely someone browsing it is to click through an ad link placed on the website. Paying for ad space on more popular sites can result in hundreds of new customers each day. Advertising space is therefore priced based on the hits that the website receives.
The site owner may promote a product from Clickbank, PayDotCom and the other similar Affiliate companies. If a visitor clicks on a banner or link, purchases the product the site owner can get between 50 and 75% commission from the sale.
Well a question now arises is how to choose the right affiliate marketing program for your webpage? The answer is quite simple. Search the internet to find the best program to suit your website as the internet is loaded with hundreds of such programs and is sure to provide you with the most suitable option for your site or blog.
The income earned from such programs can vary depending on the number of hits your site receives. But is the income taxable or not? It depends on the region you are staying in and the type of government. The opportunities in this field are enormous and are worth exploiting!

Hi Diane!
Wow! This is a great article. I have thought about putting some sites on my blog that you get paid for if they simply put in their zip code. Lol… how easy would that be! But I have not done that yet. I guess my attention right now is just on bringing the traffic. I am going to keep all these ideas in mind for when I do start to expand a bit on my blog. Thanks so much for the tips.
See you in the webinar!

Hello, Di – just gone done reading your great remarks on the F500 forum. I responded there, but thought I’d drop by your blog and have a look around. Looks like I’m gonna have to bookmark this!
You mention that you got some professional advice from some people who “spit their coffee all over their keyboards” when you outlined what’s being done by most of Alex’s students – at least, that’s the understanding I had from what I read. The points you were making in your post really resonated with me. I’m a pretty rank newbie, and I’ve been feeling the pressure to speed up and compete with those of Alex’s students who’ve been online marketing for years, which is foolish of me, I realize. But I have time pressures as well, as I’ve set a (necessary) goal for myself of earning enough to live on by June. I’m hoping that’s not unrealistic!
But I suffer from a lack of a plan. Information overload is huge. I can slowly dig my way out of tech prison with a plastic spoon, but nothing I do will drive traffic my way without some better understanding of what I’m doing, and how I should be going about it. What I get from Alex’s course only takes me a little ways forward, and then I get stuck.
It sounded to me like the mentor you mention knew what s/he was talking about. I’d like to check them out and see if they might be a good fit for me, and it also sounds like they might be reasonably priced, which is a real consideration. Is there any chance I could get a website or some contact information?
Thanks for a very thought provoking (and useful) discussion.
Cheers,
Susan

Hello Di, this is my first visit as I am trying to get round all of the students blogs, a slow but worthwhile job I think.
I think everyone is getting a major headache trying to drive traffic to their sites. It is not easy, especially as there are so many options to do this. Which one do you choose? You can’t dither about between the lot, you have to pick one and try it properly before you move on to the next option. I find traffic driving one of the hardest tasks in the course. I would appreciate your visiting my site when you get a moment and perhaps leaving a comment. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.

Hello Diane, Vince here again with another,
FREE Gift for you. But this is Huge
If you want to shift your blog in overdrive?
Please read this Huge Special Announcement
- and post a link to my blog.
I don’t want anyone to miss out on this.
I have worked out an incredible package for you
- and all of Alex’s members – read on…
I now have the resale rights to CamStudio witch is now Camtasia, This new recoded Internet Marketing Version is bug free and works just as good as Camtasia witch cost 300.00.
Soon you will see a new sign up form and video come up showing you this new software and I am giving it to all of Alex’s members for FREE.
Why am I doing this…
I am doing this for two reasons, First I want to help everyone out their and show them I really have some great value on my blog and second I feel that 90% of the members cannot afford Camtasia so this will be a great way to build a new list of all the members.
Check out my post and you will see this is a new recoded up to date version with all bugs removed and special features added like flash out put videos in firefox and now you can redirect to a URL after the video has finished.
On top of this I also package together a 70 plus page ebook on how to get more traffic to your website or blog as a bonus. This is a must read. Some really great strategies and techniques you can use.
Now this is only going to be up for a short time for all the members to get it. Then it will be taken down forever as I am selling it on the internet.
So Please Scream this from the roof tops because anyone that gets this new software will now be able to teach fellow students anything they know though video and bring more traffic to their blog or website.
This complete video software comes with a step by step pDF file that shows you exactly how to install and run the software. Once installed you will love it.
UPDATE:
The Give-away pages are all set and all I have to do is flick the switch. The video will be up soon with a sign up form. Check back soon. Thanks Vince

Hi, Di,
This is off the topic of your post.
I would like to commend you for your excellent post regarding the Blogroll question on Mark Austin’s site,
http://missioninternetmarketing.com/blog/the-blogroll-debate-continueswhat-are-your-thoughts/
Excerpt from your post:
We should be taking advice from experts – which is no Blogroll. We should NOT all be writing about the same person – does that not seem a little like duplication to you. We are starting to look like a blog farm. That is about as nasty as you can get and we WILL be done. I have decided that I will probably get hammered if Google come along although I have tried to avoid everything mentioned above. That will put ME out of business. I survive on 3 No 1 sites in Google for different subjects – one being a client site.
What we are doing is unheard of apart from the 30 Day Challenge who Google have had enough of and made them make it a closed paid-for community as it was free for 3 years. They also lost their blog farm because someone told Google (allegedly).
It is time Alex came back with some advice. He said he would before Christmas.
We need a lot more quality relevant articles on what we are trying to do for ourselves and far less repeating of words and phrases. If Google hit you will get no warning and never get back in. If my website is on your blogroll with a link, please take it off. My income is at stake here.
We need urgent guidance from Alex on SEO. All I have had is a request to vote for him on Twitter. We are paying for this aren’t we?
— End excerpt —
Looks as if you may know more than Alex about this. If the experts say not to do a blogroll, I think that’s the answer.
Also, your last question is excellent:
We are paying for this, aren’t we?
All the best,
Joan Hughes
